Giving Thanks
As Chicagoans we are thankful because the Chicago Cubs are the World Series Champs for the first time in more than a decade. And so we smile.
As Americans we are thankful because soon many of us will have the opportunity to gather together and enjoy a meal. While we may no longer truly see this as a celebration of fall's harvest, it is a celebration steeped in tradition. Almost every table will include a turkey and stuffing.
